The language of flowers

Delia Pusey's work shown at Alexandra palace was extremely beautiful. It has been a while since an exhibition gave me goose bumps and that sense of eery-ness. I love the slight melancholy theme about the story. Another that captured me is the fine machine stitches that reminded me of using dissolvable fabric.
As you can see from the image, the flowers represented hidden messages representing love letter during the First World War. I was lucky enough to have a flick through her sketchbook, which was beautiful also.
